Ockje Tellegen
Ockje Caroline Tellegen is a Dutch politician serving as a member of the House of Representatives since 20 September 2012. A member of the People's Party for Freedom and Democracy, she has been first Deputy Speaker and president of the committee on Education, Culture and Science since 2017.
Born in Delft, she grew up and resides in The Hague. Tellegen was political assistant to fellow party member and State Secretary for European Affairs Atzo Nicolaï from 2002 to 2006. Previously she worked for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and at the embassy in Berlin.
