Odhiambo' is a Luo surname meaning " evening"- "light, dusky purple littered with tiny silver stars sky”. Luos are a major tribe in East Africa and belong to the River Lake Nilotes. They migrated from Bahr el Ghazal. The Luo are an ethnic group in western parts of South Sudan. They are part of a larger group of ethnolinguistically related Luo peoples of East Africa. They speak the Dholuo language which is a Northern Luo language.
