• Agnes of Glasgow - A lost lover and part of a local legend, which local folklore claims still haunts the cemetery to present day.
• Richmond Hobson Hilton - World War I Medal of Honor recipient.
• John Canty Villepigue - World War I Medal of Honor recipient.
• John Peter Richardson III - South Carolina Governor from 1886 to 1890.
• Richard Rowland Kirkland - Civil War Confederate soldier and hero at the Battle of Fredericksburg.
• Joseph Brevard Kershaw - Confederate Civil War General, president of the South Carolina State Senate, and for whose forebearers Kershaw County was named.
• John Doby Kennedy - Confederate Army General during the Civil War, and later South Carolina Lieutenant Governor.
• John Bordenave Villepigue - Confederate Civil War General, and ancestor to John Canty Villepigue.
