POWER10
POWER10 is a family of multi-core processors based on the Power ISA, primarily designed by IBM, but with substantial contributions of their OpenPOWER Foundation partners. It is designed to tackle future demands in the analytics and big data domains.
POWER10 processors will be manufactured using a 7 nm process and feature enhancements compared to its predecessor, POWER9, regarding core count, microarchitecture design, memory controllers, and I/O with support for OpenCAPI 4.0 and NVLink3.
Systems using POWER10 are expected to be available in 2021 and will utilize PowerISA v3.1 specification.
