Pablo Agüero


Pablo Agüero is an Argentine film director and screenwriter. He made his directing debut at the age of 15 with Más allá de las puertas. In 2006, his short film Primera nieve won the Jury Price in competition at Cannes Film Festival. His first full-length movie called Salamandra has it world premiere at the Cannes' Director's Fortnight in 2008. It was shot in El Bolsón, Río Negro where Agüero grew up. His later films include Eva Doesn't Sleep about Eva Perón, first lady of Argentina. In November 2018, it was announced that he will direct a new comedy-horror film Sangria.
