Pakistani cricket team in Ireland in 2020

The Pakistan cricket team were scheduled to tour Ireland in July 2020 to play two Twenty20 International matches, ahead of their tour of England. It would have been the first bilateral T20I series between the two sides. Cricket Ireland confirmed the fixtures for this series in December 2019.
Pakistan were also scheduled to play a three-match One Day International series against the Netherlands prior to the series. However, on 22 April 2020, the Dutch government announced that it had banned all events in the country, both sports and cultural, until 1 September 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In April 2020, Cricket Ireland's Chief Executive, Warren Deutrom, stated that international cricket in Ireland during 2020 was at "high risk" due to the coronavirus pandemic. Deutrom later stated that Cricket Ireland would "make every endeavour to be as flexible as we can" in regards to any rescheduled fixtures. The Irish government announced a provisional date of 20 July 2020 for a possible restart of sporting fixtures in the country. However, the tour was postponed on 15 May 2020 due to the pandemic.
