''Bastards x Barrett Pop-Up shops'', (2020)
This project was first announced on the 12th January 2020 on Palaye Royale's Social Media pages, in preparation of their 2020 UK/EU 'Bastards' World Tour. The aim of this was to sell the band's exclusive merchandise and Barrett's artwork to their UK/EU fans without the shipping costs. It was also an ideal project for fan interaction. The first date of the popup shop was the 20th - 22nd February 2020 in Kensington, London - with the 22nd being the most popular date as they also hosted a 'Palaye in the Park' nearby the shop earlier in the day. The band also played their song, 'Lonely', off their upcoming album 'The Bastards'.
Following the success of the London date, the band continued to host these popup shops in Amsterdam and Paris.
''Palaye in the Park'', (2018-present)
The fans of London created Palaye in the Park in May 2018. It is a free public meetup with other fans of the band in their area, where traditionally they would gather in parks and other public spaces. The first meetup was in the Kensington Gardens in London and the band, recognizing how much effort had been put into it, showed up too. This can be seen on Palaye Royale's Royal Television series season 1 episode 20.
The fans of the band still continue to organize and host these events all over the world.
