Pathfinder Partners, LLC is a private equity firm based in San Diego, California. Pathfinder Partners was founded by Lorne Polger and Mitch Siegler in 2006 to make opportunistic investments in distressed real estate assets and value-add properties. Pathfinder focuses primarily on residential properties and secondarily on commercial properties. Pathfinder has acquired defaulted loans, bank real estate-owned and value-add properties with estimated invested capital exceeding $1 billion since inception.
In addition to seeking opportunities to add value by providing liquidity to selling financial institutions, liquidating funds and fatigued owners, Pathfinder also seeks to maximize value through property enhancements, improvements in operations and marketing, property re-positioning and other strategies. Pathfinder’s primary target markets are in major metro areas in the western U.S., including California, Arizona, Nevada, Colorado, Washington and Oregon.
