Paul Calf's Video Diary

Paul Calf's Video Diary is a British comedy written by and starring Steve Coogan.
It was produced by Geoff Posner and David Tyler for Pozzitive Television, and resulted in the follow-up video diary Pauline Calf's Wedding Video, which won the 1995 BAFTA for Best Comedy.

Overview

The main plot revolves around Mancunian wastrel Paul, who has decided to chronicle his life via a video diary. The cast included Steve Coogan, playing both Paul and his sister Pauline, John Thomson as Fat Bob, Patrick Marber as Roland, and Sally Rogers as Paul's long-suffering girlfriend Julie.
The character of Paul Calf was resurrected in a one-off episode of Coogan's Run, entitled 'Get Calf', which aired in 1995. Talks were underway with the BBC about the possibility of a Paul Calf spin-off series, but this never came to fruition.
