PerSay


PerSay was an Israeli start-up company specializing in Voice Biometrics technology. Founded in 2000, its voice biometrics systems are used in the banking, insurance, governments, and telecommunications industries worldwide.

History

PerSay was founded in February 2000 as a spin-off of Verint Systems, part of the Comverse Technology group. Its headquarters is in Ra'anana, with an office in New York City. Its main investor was SKFT, which handled the venture capital activity of the Shrem Fudim Kelner group. In April 2004 the company was valued at $2.9 to $3.7 million. In 2010 the company was sold for an undisclosed amount to Nuance Communications.
