Petabyte


A petabyte is 1015 bytes of digital information. The unit symbol for the petabyte is PB.
The name is composed of the SI prefix peta- composed with the non-SI unit of a byte.
A related unit, the pebibyte, using a binary prefix, is equal to 10245 bytes, which is more than 12% greater.
