Peter Benson (rugby league)
Peter Benson is a former professional rugby league footballer who played in the 1980s and 1990s. He played at club level for the North Sydney Bears, Brisbane Broncos, Gold Coast, Wakefield Trinity and the Canberra Raiders. He played as a or, i.e. number 1, 2 or 5, or, 3 or 4.Peter Benson played left-, i.e. number 4, and scored three goals in Wakefield Trinity's 29-16 victory over Sheffield Eagles in the 1992–93 Yorkshire County Cup Final during the 1992–93 season at Elland Road, Leeds on Sunday 18 October 1992.
