Phan Văn Giang

Phan Văn Giang is a Vietnamese Army general, the current Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and First Deputy Defence Minister.
Phan Văn Giang was born in 1961 in Thái Nguyên Province, joined the Communist Party of Vietnam in 2016, and served as the military Commissioner of the provincial party Committee.
Other positions held included:

Phan Văn Giang was promoted to Major General in 2009, then to Lieutenant General in 2012, after that Colonel General in 2017.
