Philip "Brave" Davis
Philip Edward Davis QC is a lawyer and Bahamian politician. He was elected as the Member of Parliament for the seat of Cat Island, Rum Cay & San Salvador in 2002 and is a Senior Partner of . He was formerly a partner of Christie, Ingraham & Co. with Hubert Ingraham and Perry Christie.
He was elected as the Deputy Leader of the Progressive Liberal Party, the country's oldest political party, in November 2009. He served as the Bahamas's Minister of Works from 2012–2017. After the P.L.P.'s defeat in May 2017, he was appointed Leader of Her Majesty's Loyal Opposition and replaced former PM Perry G. Christie as the party's leader after being elected at the party's National Convention in October of that year by defeating Mrs. Glenys Hanna-Martin, MP for Englerston.
He was appointed Queen's Counsel in January 2015.
