The Piccio family is a family of Portuguese Jewish origin. It has established branches in Argentina, France, Italy and the Philippines. Members also reside in lesser numbers in other countries.
The family’s name is an Italianized standardization by notaries in Rome of diverse renderings in Hebrew of the original Portuguese Figo. In one such rendering, the original had undergone Turkification as, Turkish occurring only in foreign loans, before ultimately taking on the name’s current form.Members
