Pindwara is a Municipality City and Tehsil in Sirohi District Of Rajasthan, India.
Pindwara is One Of Main Financial City Of Sirohi District After Abu Road.
As Of 2011, the population of Pindwara is 24487.
It is located 435 km southwest of the state capital Jaipur, between Aravalli Hills And Plains Of Marwar Region.
The City Used to be A Major Area Of Marble And Stone Carving In India By Long Time.
It is common Belief that If there is any construction of temple work all over the world, it could not complete without involvement of Pindwara artisan.

Reserves of Copper also have been Found in Basantgarh Village of Pindwara.

It is Connected By RSRTC and GSRTC Operated Buses To all Parts Of Rajasthan, And Indian Cities Of Ahmedabad, Delhi And Mumbai.

History

The history of this city is studied with the history of Sirohi.
This region comes into the Sirohi state and was established by the Rao Devraj in 14th Century which belongs to the "Chauhan Kabila" of Rajputana clan.
It was said that the Rao Devraj is the descendant of Prithviraj III.
Before the 19th century this region was known as battleground of the Jodhpur State and Meena Tribe.
