Ponnya Khin Ponnya Khin is a Burmese novel author and writer . She is one of the famous writer in Myanmar, and her best-selling novel was Kya Ma Ka Hnin Si Par MaungBiography Ponnya Khin was born on 22 September 1972 in Kyaunggon in Bassein District , Irrawaddy Division , Myanmar. At age 19, she worked as a village primary school teacher while studying for her degree. At that time, she started writing novels and short stories . In 1995, she resigned from teaching.Yangon and took a post-graduate course in Applied Psychology at Yangon University and began to publish novels based on her personal experiences.
