Pooja Banerjee


Pooja Banerjee is an Indian television actress known for participating in MTV India's Roadies 8 and portraying Nivedita Basu in Star Plus's Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

Early life

Banerjee completed her schooling from Centre Point School and college from Hislop College, Nagpur. She pursued her graduation in Bachelor of Commerce and completed her post graduation in Masters in English literature. She has also represented Maharashtra at the national level swimming tournaments. She swam the 5 km sea race at the Arabian Sea and 14 km river race at river Hooghly. Banerjee has also played a swimmer, Rewa Mathur in Swim Team.

Personal life

Banerjee is married to Olympian swimmer Sandeep Sejwal. He won a bronze medal in 50m breaststroke at the 2014 Asian games held in incheon. He was awarded the Arjuna award by then president of India Pranab Mukherjee.
