Premier League Playmaker of the Season

The Premier League Playmaker of the Season is an annual English football award, presented to the player who has made the most assists in the Premier League. For sponsorship purposes, it is known as the Cadbury Playmaker of the Season since its inception during the 2017–18 season.
The Premier League was founded in 1992, when the clubs of the First Division left the Football League and established a new commercially independent league that negotiated its own broadcast and sponsorship agreements. In 2018, the Premier League Playmaker of the Season was first awarded, with Kevin De Bruyne of Manchester City its inaugural recipient.
