Prince of Yi, was a first-rank princely peerage used during Ming dynasty, this peerage title was created by Chenghua Emperor. The first Prince of Yi was Zhu Youbin, who was 6th son of Chenghua Emperor.
As members of this peerage was descentants of Yongle Emperor, their generation poem was:- The main line of this peerage used the poem until Yi generation.
Zhu Youbin , sixth son of Chenghua Emperor. He granted and held the title of Prince of Yi in 1487, and took his fief which located at Jianchangfu in 1495. He died in 1539. Full posthumous name: Prince Duan of Yi
*Zhu Houye , first son of Zhu Youbin. He succeeded and held the title Prince of Yi from 1541 to 1556. He was succeeded by his second brother as he was sonless. Full posthumous name: Prince Zhuang of Yi
*Zhu Houxuan , second son of Zhu Youbin. He initially granted and held the title of a commandery prince under the title of Comm. Prince of Chongren from 1506 to 1556. He succeeded and held the title of Prince of Yi from 1557 to 1577 from his brother. Full posthumous name: Prince Gong of Yi
**Zhu Zaizhen, first son of Zhu Houxuan. He initially designated as Chief son of Chongren in 1529 when his father was Comm. Prince of Chongren. He died before his father when he was hereditary prince and posthumously bestowed as Prince of Yi with the posthumous name "Prince Zhao of Yi".
***Zhu Yiyin , first son of Zhu Zaizhen. He designated as hereditary prince after the death of his father. He succeeded and held the title of Prince of Yi from 1580 to 1603. Full posthumous name: Prince Xuan of Yi
****Zhu Chang... , second son of Zhu Yiyin. He designated as hereditary prince with his father also designated as herditary prince. He succeeded and held the title of Prince of Yi from 1605 - 1615. Full posthumous name: Prince Jing of Yi
*****Zhu Youmu , third son of Prince Jing. He was ordered to changed his birth name as he shared the same name with Tianqi Emperor. He was promoted as a commandery prince under the title of Comm. Prince of Jiashan from the title of a defender general in 1588. He succeeded and held the title of Prince of Yi from 1617 to 1634. Full posthumous name: Prince Ding of Yi
******Zhu Ciyi , first son of Zhu Youmu. he succeeded and held the title of Prince of Yi 1636. He was escaped to Guangdong in 1645 and died after a year in 1646, in Guangzhou. Full posthumous name: Prince Xian of Yi / Prince Su of Yi
*******Zhu Hexi , first son of Zhu Ciyi. he succeeded and held the title of Prince of Yi after 1662.
********Zhu Yihao , he succeeded and held the title of Prince of Yi. He was escaped to Taiwan, but later was located at Qi County, Kaifeng by Qing court.
******Zhu Cizhu , he succeeded and held the title of Prince of Yi from 1651 to 1662.
****Zhu Changhu, 13th son of Zhu Cizhu. He granted and held the title of a commandery prince under the title Comm. Prince of Yunxi from 1595 to 1648. He was posthumously bestowed the title of "Prince of Min" by Zhu Yihai.
