Pruthvi Ambaar


Pruthvi Ambaar is an Indian actor working in the Kannada and Tulu film industry. He was earlier working as a radio presenter in Mangaluru. His debut feature film was Barke. His second film was the successful Pilibail Yamunakka directed by K. Sooraj Shetty. He acted as hero in the 2020 Kannada release Dia and as 'Neel' in the Kannada Serial Jothe Jotheyali.
He has acted in a leading role in Tulu movies like Pilibail Yamunakka, Pammanne The Great, Golmaal, Radd Ekre English, Aatidonji Dina, Enna, Kudkana Madme and in Kannada movies Rajaru, DK Bose and Dia''.

Early life and education

Ambaar was born on August 17, 1988, in a village of Udupi District in a Tulu family. Studied upto pre-university education in Kaup. He completed his graduation in BBA from Poornaprajna College, Udupi and Masters in Mass Communication from St. Aloysius College Mangalore.

Career

Ambaar started his career as a radio presenter in Mangaluru. In the initial days of his career, he directed and acted in many short films. He was known as RJ Nagaraj. He made his debut entry as an actor in the Tulu film Barke in 2014.
In the same year, he had a lead role as a hero in the film Pilibail Yamunakka along with Sonal Monteiro, directed by K Sooraj Shetty. It was a hit for the Tulu film industry. Later he acted in many Tulu and Kannada films.

Personal life

Pruthvi Ambaar married Parul Shukla on 3 November 2019 in Mangalore.
