is a village in the
Khojali Rayon
of
Azerbaijan
.
History
In July
1919
the
Armenian
population of
the village
was
massacred
by
armed
ethnic
Azeri
and
Kurdish
irregulars
and
Azerbaijani soldiers
. From
600
to
700
ethnic
Armenians
, including
women and children
, were
murdered
. Qeybalı and
nearby
Armenian
villages
,
Jamillu
,
Karkujahan
and Pahliul were
looted
and
burnt
.
