Ramana Gogula
Ramana Gogula, is an Indian singer, songwriter, musician, music director and producer of world music. In 1996 his band Misty Rhythms released the Indie Pop, studio album Aye Laila along with a Music Video which became a chart buster on major music channels like MTV and Channel in India. He then ventured into Telugu cinema and composed songs and background score for around 25 films in three South Indian languages. His most notable hits include films like, Thammudu, Premante Idera, Badri, and Yuvaraju.
With an M.Tech. in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute Of Technology, Kharagpur, Gogula also has an M.S. in computer science from Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge. As a serial entrepreneur, Gogula founded Startups like Liqwid Krystal in the Education Space and Earthen Glow in the Off Grid Clean Technology Lighting Space. He was also the managing director for South Asia for the MNC Sybase.
After working as a Venture Capitalist in the VC firms, Unitus Seed Fund and Anthill Ventures, Gogula is now the Vice President Of Clean Technology Innovation in Stanley Black & Decker. He is building a Solar Agricultural Platform to impact the lives of over 300 million farmers in India.Studio Albums
