Raymond Oursel
Raymond Oursel - French historian and archaeologist. He was born on July 26, 1921 in Mâcon and died on September 30, 2008 in Mâcon. He graduated from the École des Chartes. He was awarded the 1re médaille des Antiquités de la France, the Officer of the French Order of Academic Palms, the Marie-Eugène Simon-Henri-Martin Prize, the Officier des Arts et des Lettres, the Broquette-Gonin prize, the Knight of the Legion of Honour.
