Razan County


Razan County is a county in Hamadan Province in Iran. The capital of the county is Razan. At the 2006 census, the county's population was 111,120, in 26,277 families. The county is subdivided into three districts: the Central District, Sardrud District, and Qorveh-e Darjazin District. The county has three cities: Razan, Qorveh-e Darjazin, and Damaq. There are many famous persons and celebrities from this county such as: Molla-Ali Masoumi, Dr. Mohammad Mofatteh, Mohyedin Anvari, Mohammad Piran, Mostafa Rahmandost, Sedighe Vasmaghi, Ghorbanali Namdari, Hossein Nori-Hamdani, Dr. Nosrati, and MirzaHasan Razini. The people of this county speak Persian and to some extent Azeri Turkish.
