Red Lion Inn (Stockbridge, Massachusetts)


The Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, Massachusetts is one of the Historic Hotels of America of the National Trust for Historic Preservation.

History

It was built in 1773 as a tavern. Jane Pratt Fitzpatrick bought the property in 1968 when it was threatened to be demolished to build a gas station.
