Reinga Bloxham


Reinga Bloxham is a New Zealand netball coach and former netball player for the Southern Steel. She is currently the head coach of the Southern Steel in the ANZ Premiership. Born and raised in the Southland town of Wyndham, Bloxham played with the Southern Sting as a midcourter in the National Bank Cup between 1998 and 2004. She started coaching with Southland from 2009–12, before joining the Southern Steel for the 2013 ANZ Championship season as a defensive specialist. She also served as assistant coach for the Steel from 2014–16, under Janine Southby and Noeline Taurua. Bloxham was promoted to head coach for the 2017 season, with the Steel playing in the new ANZ Premiership. The Steel progressed undefeated that year to win the inaugural ANZ Premiership season.
