Reotipur is a village located in the Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh, India. Reotipur is a large village located in zamania tehsil of Ghazipur district,and Kamsar-o-bar region of zamania tehsil. Uttar Pradesh with total 3457 families residing. The Reotipur village has population of 26597.it is the 7th largest villages in Gazipur district.
This village is very old, believed to have been established in 1527AD.

Reotipur village is administrated by Gram Panchayat through its Pradhan who is elected representative of village. Reotipur is the largest Gram Panchayat of Ghazipur district. The town was listed under Ambedkar gram yojna by the former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Mayawati, and hence was granted special privileges for its development program. Extensive construction and maintenance work was undertaken with the revamp of old roads with concrete ones and construction of many new routes. But from 4 years when upender Kumar Sharma became gram panchyat he have not done a single work and work only for his community like the person who are from his cast and when any one visit for help he says that ask to those to whom you have vote he is a thief person

Reotipur is well linked to other parts of district by means of public and private Bus,Jeep transport. The nearest railway stations are Dildarnagar, Bhadaura and Ghazipur.The closest airport is Varanasi Airport located 53.9 mi West of the centre of Reotipur. In terms of Agriculture the Reotipur village stands on a good position. The village is located on the banks of Ganges river and a local river name as iqnaiya. The total area of the village is 7753 acres out of which nearly 7560 acres is crop producing area of the village. All kinds of crops which grow in Uttar Pradesh and Buxar of Bihar are grown in the village. All kinds of modern machinery are present in the village. The village have more than eighty Tractors,twenty combine harvesters and eight balers for the cutting of crops and harvesting. The village also have solar tubewells better electricity supply. The village also have many shops. The water level of the village is also not more than hundred foot deep.

Bhagwati temple

After the defeat in battle of khanwa and Battle of Madarpur the three brothers name as Maharaja Kam dev singh,Maharaja Dam dev singh and Maharaja vikram pratap dev singh who were son of Maharaja Jay Raj Dev Singh. kam and dam came to this region and changed their cast to Brahmin and Kam dev changed his name to Kam deo misir and dam to dam deo misir and the third brother shifted to some another place. The elder brother Kam also became famous with the name of Dholku baba. According to local tradition, these two brothers named Kaam Misr and Dhaam Misir brought a statue of the goddess from Fatehpur Sikri, and installed it at the temple in Reotipur. Raghunandan Brahma Baba temple is another major temple in Reotipur.

There is also degree college for higher studies such as graduation and post-graduation named Gadhar shloka Mahavidyalaya and three sanskrit mahavidyalaya.and also have a study centre of Uttar Pradesh Rajarshi Tandon open University. These affiliated college offers traditional courses such as graduation, master's degree and PhD in different-different medium.
