Rhododendron wallichii
Rhododendron wallichii is a rhododendron species native to northeastern India, eastern Nepal, Bhutan, Sikkim, and southern Xizang in China, where it grows at altitudes of 3000–4300 meters. It is a shrub that grows to 2–4 m in height, with leathery leaves that are elliptic to oblong-obovate, 7–12 by 2.5–5 cm in size. Flowers are purple-red to white, with red spots.Synonyms
