Rich Keeble is a Britishactor, voiceover artist and musician. He has appeared in television series such as Warren, Doctors, Porters, The Rebel and Birds of a Feather, as well as voice acting for video games including Strange Brigade, and Ancestors Legacy.
Career
Television, film and online
Between 2010 and 2015, Keeble appeared as various characters in sketches for Lee Nelson's Well Good Show, Alan Carr's Summertime Specstacular, Alan Carr's New Year Specstacular, hidden camera showFool Britannia, and had small roles in sitcoms Birds of a Feather and The Delivery Man. In 2013, he appeared in a recurring ident on the BBC directed by Victoria Pile, playing the character of Gary whose living room is invaded by a panda played by Steve Marsh. He starred in the first of a series of McDonald's television adverts for their weekly My Burger campaign. Since October 2015, he has starred in comedy television adverts for TopCashback. He also appeared as a cookery teacher in the 2015 LidlChristmas television advert. In February 2016 he starred in a series of online social media comedy videos for Doubleshot TV. In 2015 he portrayed Dr. Williams in the drama thriller filmSurvivors. Keeble co-writes and stars in the comedy web series Rich Keeble Vanity Project which won the "Best UK Series" award at UK Web Fest, and later won "Best British Web Series" at the 2017 Pilot Light TV Festival, and "Best Supporting Actor " at the Indie Series Awards. It was also nominated for "Best UK Series" and "Best Writing" in the web series competition of the 24th Raindance Film Festival. In November 2016 he regularly appeared on the entertainment television series Animal Antics on Viasat Nature, directed by Nick Mavroidakis. In March 2017 he appeared in Comedy Central'sBad Snappers and Channel 4'sThe Last Leg, appearing as a journalist in a sketch with Mr Blobby, and in another episode as an archaeologist discovering the remains of hosts Adam Hills, Josh Widdicombe and Alex Brooker. He appeared in an episode of The Rebel with Simon Callow in November 2017. In September 2018, he began appearing in Dutch TV advertisements for Centraal Beheer. He provided the voice of the radio DJ on the Halloween special live episode of Inside No.9 broadcast on BBC Two on 28 October 2018. He was 'Richard the lawyer' in the 2018 Christmas special of Through the Keyhole, with Keith Lemon and Christopher Biggins. In March 2019, he portrayed PC Mortimer in Series 2 of Porters. He also played three characters in the BBC1 sitcom Warren - Shop Assistant and two other voice roles. Keeble stars as William in the film Criminal Audition, which premiered at London FrightFest 2019. He has received a positive critical reception for his performance. In December 2019, he appeared as Mark Waddington in the BBC soap opera Doctors.
Voice work
From September 2015 he has been heard as the voiceover for the Property Partner television advert. In May 2016 he voiced comedy online commercials for ITV2'sLove Island. On 12 September 2016, a series of online videos featuring his voice and starring Ewen MacIntosh were released for Recycle Week. In January 2017, he narrated the audiobook for James Smythe's, The Explorer, published by Harper Audio. He also narrated the audiobook of Mesut Özil's autobiography Gunning for Greatness, and provided voices for the feature filmFinding Fatimah, as well as for the video games ', ', and . He played the character Frank Fairburne in Strange Brigade, released 28 August 2018.
Keeble has also performed as a musician with a number of bands. He sang and played guitar in indie-rock band Goodbye Sergeants, who released the single "Boy Band Kind of Way" / "I Want to Get Fired" and the EPs Live at the Bullet Bar and An Opuscule Worthy Of A Monstrance. He also played live keyboards for indie-rock band The Splendour on their 2008 UK summer tour in support of their album Best Way To Make Money, culminating in a performance at the now defunct Beachdown Festival in Brighton. He played live drums for anti-folk band Sergeant Buzfuz to support their album High Slang, including live session performances on both Marc Riley and Tom Robinson'sBBC 6 Musicradio shows. He did not perform on the album itself. He played drums for Dr Strangely Strange during a London reunion show where Sergeant Buzfuz were supporting on 21 February 2009. He currently plays drums in The Pistol Gang and The Preacher. On 16 August 2017 the album Rich Keeble & The More Accomplished Musicians was released.
