Riverside High School (Launceston)


Riverside High School is a public, co-educational, comprehensive high school in Riverside, Launceston, Tasmania, Australia. It was opened in 1962, one of a number of similar schools established around the same time. The school's motto is "Quod verum meum est". Riverside High School caters to about 820 students in years 7 to 10. In 2019 Riverside High received an extensive $12 million dollar redevelopment which is expected to be completed by early 2020.

Notable faculty

Riverside science teacher William Briginshaw was awarded Tasmania's Winifred Curtis Medal for his contributions to science education, in May 2008.
