The track was used by Vodacom for an advert in which Robbie Wessels dances accompanied by background dancers. After the release, the song had been played many times at big events, such as rugby games and athletics. In 2006 the song received the 'Liedjie van die Jaar' award.
The song is about a 'hype,' originated in Parys in the Vrystaat, called the leeuloop. Throughout the song, Robbie explains how this is done, namely by undoing your belt and pants, kneeling on the floor, pulling down the pants and roaring, all while clenching two balls in between your legs. "Leeuloop" literally means "the walk of the lion".
