Facilities and aircraft

Robert F. Swinnie Airport covers an area of which contains one asphalt paved runway measuring 3,001 x 60 ft. For the 12-month period ending September 13, 2006, the airport had 1,000 aircraft operations, 100% of which were general aviation. In recent years, the trees have grown around the runway, making takeoff and landing more difficult. This caused an accident leading to death in early 2011.
