Robert Frith


Robert William Frith was an English professional football half back who played in the Football League for Rotherham County, South Shields and Derby County.

Personal life

Frith was married with two children and at one time worked as a furnace man in Sheffield. Four months into the First World War, Dunn enlisted in the 17th Battalion of the Duke of Cambridge's Own on 16 December 1914. He was transferred to the regiment's 27th Battalion in November 1915 and then released from the army during the following month to work in a munitions factory in Sheffield.
