Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Harare
The Archdiocese of Harare is a particular church of the Roman Catholic Church in Zimbabwe. Its ecclesiastic territory includes the city of Harare, and parts of the provinces of Manicaland, Mashonaland Central, Mashonaland East, and Mashonaland West. The archdiocese is the metropolitan see for the Ecclesiastical Province of Harare, which covers northeastern Zimbabwe. The current archbishop is Robert Ndlovu. The mother church of the archdiocese is the Cathedral of the Sacred Heart of Jesus in Harare. The archdiocese has 168 priests, including 53 diocesan priests and 115 religious priests, and 290 religious sisters who are members of various religious institutes. These priests, deacons and persons religious serve the archdiocese's Catholic population in of 3,350,000 in 59 Parishes in the Archdiocese Of Harare and a number of missions.History
