Russów
Russów is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Żelazków, within Kalisz County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland. It lies approximately north of Kalisz and south-east of the regional capital Poznań.Russów is the birthplace of writer Maria Dąbrowska, author of a popular Polish historical novel Noce i dnie written between 1932 and 1934. It was made into a film by the same title in 1975 by Jerzy Antczak. Her family belonged to local landed gentry.
