S. V. Krishna Reddy


S. V. Krishna Reddy is an Indian film director, actor, producer, screenwriter and composer, known for his works in Telugu cinema, Hollywood, kollywood,and Bollywood. He has garnered three state Nandi Awards and the Filmfare Best Telugu Director Award.
In 2012 he directed the romantic comedy Divorce Invitation, an American adaptation of his 1997 Telugu Hit Aahvaanam.
Reddy is best known for his screenwriting works in hits such as Mayalodu, Rajendrudu Gajendrudu, Yamaleela, Subha Lagnam, Taqdeerwala, Ghatothkachudu , Maavichiguru, Vinodam, Egire Paavurama, Judaai, Pelli Peetalu, Premaku Velayara, Sakutumba Saparivaara Sametham, Premaku Swagatham , Pellam Oorelithe, and Yamaleela 2.

Early life and film career

Krishna was born in Konkuduru village, East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. After his post graduation in Bheemavaram, he moved to Hyderabad and scripted Kobbari Bondam.
