Sahih International
Sahih International is an English Language translation of the Quran. Published by the Publishing House, dar Abul Qasim, Saudi Arabia, it is one of the World's most popular Quran translations.
Translated by three American women, Emily Assami, Mary Kennedy, and Amatullah Bantley it uses accessible and un-archaic language.
Notable conventions include rendering the God in Islam as Allah. Sahih International has been used by Islam's most conservative adherents. The authors indicate by means of square parenthesis where Sunni orthodoxy requires words to be inserted.
Ṣaḥīḥ may be translated as "" or "sound."
