Sakri, Madhubani
Sakri panchayat is a small town in Madhubani district of Bihar, in Pandaul block. Sakri is a Junction connected to Madhubani, Jhanjharpur, Biraul, and Darbhanga. Sakri is of two Panchayat, Sakri east and Sakri West. Surrounding areas are Darbhanga in the west, Manigachi in the east, Pandaul in the North and supaul in South. Nearest Airport is Patna around 160 km. It on the NH27 and connected to different states. Sakri had Sugar Mill which was closed for years, but the government is planning to lease it to private entrepreneur on lease for 60 years.
