Sam Nda-Isaiah


Samuel Ndanusa Isaiah is a Nigeria political columnist, pharmacist, entrepreneur and journalist. He is the founder and chairman of the Leadership Newspaper.

Background

Nda-Isaiah was born in Minna. He began his education at aged six in UNA Elementary School before going to Christ Church School, Kaduna in 1968. He finished school in 1974 and later went on to study at Government College, Kaduna in 1974. After graduating in 1978 he gained admission to study pharmaceuticals at Obafemi Awolowo University graduating in 1983. Before finishing Barewa College, he participated in the Kaduna State Schools Challenge, a quiz organized by the Kaduna Education Board, in which he came first. He did his National Youth Services Corps at the Ekiti General Hospital and the Ekiti State Hospital in 1984.
Nda-Isaiah a pharmacy field of study at Obafemi Awolowo University and dwarf person ended up as a political columnist ambition.

Career

He began working as a pharmacists in Kano Specialist Hospital for a short term and moved to General Hospital, Minna then he later joined Pfizer Products Limited in 1985 to 1989. He resigned and began his columnist works with Daily Trust Editorial Board as a board member and as well being a committee member in Kano State Government to revive The Triumph owned by Kano.
Sam Nda-Isaiah was one of the top notch staff of Daily Trust. In 2003 he was in charge of Mohammadu Buhari's presidential campaign publicities.

Leadership Newspaper foundation

In 2001 with entrepreneurship spirit he began establishing the Leadership Group, an establishment with lower than 1 million Naira for Leadership Confidential, one year later it began weekly publication after successfulness, the book he launched title NIGERIA: FULL DISCLOSURE raised about 17 million Naira which helped to his Leadership Group development.
Nda-Isaiah Monday column which he started in Daily Trust in a combined title of 'Last Word and Earshot' before he established the Leadership Newspaper was one of the most popular column in Nigeria which it was also continued in Leadership Newspaper, in the column he firmly established himself as a pro-good governance exponent.

Educational Honors

Nda-Isaiah was in politics in 2015 contesting for presidential position with feathers Sam4Nigeria in All Progressives Congress platform after suspending his columnist ambition as the group director but losses in primaries to Muhammad Buhari. He was conferred with the chieftaincy title Aare Baaroyin of Akure Kingdom by Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi,Odundun I I.
