Samarendra Maulik
Samarendra Nath Maulik was an Indian entomologist.
Maulik was a specialist in Coleoptera, and worked at the British Museum where he studied leaf beetles Chrysomelidae: Hispinae and Cassidinae xi + 439 p 130 figs.
According to his obituary, Maulik attempted to adopt a scientific attitude in his approach to all problems. His views were liberal, and he was an atheist.
