Same-sex marriage in South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands

Same-sex marriage in South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands, a British Overseas Territory with no permanent population, has been legal since 2014, when it was legalised in England and Wales, although the Foreign Office only updated its travel advice website page to include a note about it in January 2018. The Foreign Office has confirmed that, as of January 2018, no same-sex weddings have taken place in South Georgia and the South Sandwich Islands.
