Critical Reception

The Times of India rated 2.5/5 and says "The flashes of brilliance are overshadowed by a predictable storyline and by the time the climax is over, the only feeling you're left with is one of disappointment." 123 Telugu rated 3.25/5 and says "a simple love story that has been showcased in an engaging manner. Beautiful emotions, sparkling chemistry between the lead pair are major assets. However, the classy narration and slow pace may not go well with a section of the audience." The Hindu praised the performances and direction and says "Sammohanam works because its characters are vulnerable and human. Their flaws boost the character arcs."
