Sarah Dines


Sarah Elizabeth Dines is a British Conservative Party politician. She has been the Member of Parliament for Derbyshire Dales since the 2019 general election. She is the current Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland.
Dines was chosen to succeed fellow Conservative Patrick McLoughlin.

Background

Dines is from Essex. She studied at Brunel University and became a barrister specialising in family law.
She is also a member of the Justice Select Committee.
