Savran, Odessa Oblast
Savran is an urban-type settlement in Odessa Oblast of south-western Ukraine. It is located northeast of Balta and serves as the administrative center of Savran Raion. Population:
Until World War II it had a sizeable Jewish community, which numbered 3198 in 1900. It had been the center of the Hasidic Savran dynasty.
