Scelidosauridae
Scelidosauridae is a group of basal thyreophoran dinosaurs that lived during the Early Jurassic in what are now England, China, and North America with possible additional remains known from Portugal. The group was named in 1869 by Thomas Henry Huxley. Today it is generally considered paraphyletic, although Benton regards it as monophyletic.
