Scott Hemond


Scott Mathew Hemond is an American former professional baseball catcher. He played in Major League Baseball from - for the Oakland Athletics, Chicago White Sox, and St. Louis Cardinals.
Hemond played collegiate baseball for the University of South Florida. In 1984, he played collegiate summer baseball for the Hyannis Mets of the Cape Cod Baseball League. He returned to the league in 1986 with the Harwich Mariners. Hemond led the CCBL in batting in 1986, and was named league MVP. He was inducted into the CCBL Hall of Fame in 2007.
