Scott Twine


Scott Edward Twine is an English professional footballer who plays as a forward for League One side Swindon Town.

Club career

On 9 March 2017, Twine signed his first professional deal with Swindon Town along with team-mates Tommy Ouldridge and Jordan Simpson. After appearing on the bench several times, Twine finally made his Swindon debut on the final day of the 2016–17 campaign. Replacing Islam Feruz in the 69th minute during Swindon's 3–0 away defeat against Charlton Athletic.
On 8 September 2017, Twine joined National League South side Chippenham Town on a three-month loan deal. A day later, he made his debut during their 3–0 away defeat against Dartford, featuring for the full 90 minutes. On 23 September 2017, Twine netted twice in Chippenham's 5–1 home victory over Hemel Hempstead Town. Twine returned to Swindon in December 2017, following the conclusion of his loan spell. On 29 January 2018, Twine returned to Chippenham on loan for the remainder of the campaign. Following his return, Twine featured five more times before being recalled by parent club, Swindon in March.
On 10 April 2018, Twine made his first appearance under new manager, Phil Brown in Swindon's 2–2 home draw with Yeovil Town, starting the game before being replaced by Timi Elšnik in the 87th minute. At the end of the 2017–18 season, Swindon exercised an option to extend his contract.
On 13 February 2019, Twine joined League of Ireland Premier Division club Waterford on loan.
