Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World is an aquarium in Bangkok, Thailand, the largest in South East Asia. It covers approximately with hundreds of different species on display in exhibits totalling about.
The Sea Life Bangkok Ocean World aims to provide both entertainment and education to visitors. Through formal educational programs, the aquarium aims to promote an appreciation and understanding of the aquatic environment in line with the formal Thailand curriculum.
This venue practises dual pricing, where Thai nationals and expats pay around half the price that foreigners do.

Inside ocean World

Giant Spider Crabs
They are supposed to be the largest arthropods of aquatic life. They live on the ocean floor. The crabs are mostly found in the waters of Japan. They can measure up to 12 feet.
Giant Pacific Octopus
The Giant Pacific Octopus is said to live the longest in the octopus species - that is about 4 years. Its size can reach up to a maximum of 30 feet and can weigh about 600 pounds. The octopus uses special pigment cells to camouflage with the most intricate patterns of corals and stones.
Stingray Sharks
They are mostly found in the shallow coastal waters of temperate sea. They have flattened bodies, and their eyes and mouths are on the underside of their bodies. Their average life span is about 15 to 20 years. They measure up to 6.5 feet and weigh up to 300 kilograms.
Jackass Penguins or African Penguins
They are mainly found in the temperate climate of southwestern Africa.
Starfishes
There are various types of starfishes found in Sea World. People are also allowed to touch the certain types of starfishes under the expert supervision.

The Oceanis Group was established 1993. Oceanis Australia Pty Ltd was the World's largest aquarium owner and operator. The Group owned aquariums in Melbourne, Mooloolaba, Busan and manages the Ocean World Aquarium in Shanghai.
Oceanis group was acquired in 2011 by Merlin Entertainments, the world's second largest attraction operator including Legoland and Madame Tussauds.
