Seaton High School


Seaton High School is a coeducational public secondary school based in Seaton, a suburb of the City of Charles Sturt in western Adelaide, South Australia. The school has a total enrolment of more than 800 students per year, with an official count of 875 students in 2018.
Seaton High School's current role of Principal is held by Richard Abell. The school also consists of one Deputy Principal, five Assistant Principals, one Business Manager, two Student Counsellors, five Year Level Coordinators and 61 full-time equivalent teaching staff.
A future development of the school, through utilisation of a $20 million grant through the Department for Education's Better Schools Program, is currently under proposal and is scheduled to commence in the early 2020s. The development process is expected to be completed before the introduction of the Year 7 cohort to the school in 2022.

Year 8 students undertake the full year subjects of English, Mathematics, Science, Applied Science, History and Japanese, as well as the subjects of Arts, Health & Physical Activity and Technology for one semester, and Geography and Food & Nutrition for one term.
Year 9 students undertake the compulsory subjects of English, Mathematics, Science and History for the whole year, as well as the semester-long subject of Health & Physical Activity. Students also choose three of the following semester-long or year-long elective subjects:
